What are the Benefits of the Rohrer® Spectrum Laser?
The Rohrer® Spectrum laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system can resurface the face, neck, chest, or hands. Amazingly, the process is virtually painless and offers greater patient comfort during treatment — particularly for tattoo removal, hair removal, etc. The Spectrum® device can achieve many different goals, including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, vascular reduction, and laser skin resurfacing. As a multi-modal platform, the Spectrum® laser can:

For patients who are taking certain acne medications, pregnant, have very tan skin, or are affected by one or more dermatologic conditions, the Spectrum® laser may not be the best treatment.
Spectrum® Laser Applications

Laser Hair Removal (810 Diode)
Using the 810 Diode laser, our team can target and permanently remove hair follicles (and deactivate future growth) in the legs, arms, hands, underarms, bikini area, and other regions affected by unwanted hair growth. Safe for a range of different skin types, our laser has built-in contact cooling technology to increase patient comfort while hair follicles are being destroyed. In turn, the treatment session is considered much less painful than other hair reduction technologies.
Skin Resurfacing (Micro Laser Peel)
One of the lasers included in the Spectrum system is the Erbium YAG, a fully ablative laser that can be fully customized to resurface the tone and texture of your skin. There is greater flexibility, less healing time, a lower risk of complications, a reduced need for anesthesia, and a lower likelihood of pigment issues with the Erbium YAG. This sophisticated laser system can limit heat damage in surrounding areas while ablating the surface of the skin, reducing:

Tattoo removal has a reputation for being painful, but it doesn’t have to be! Our Spectrum Q-switched laser is one of the only aesthetic technologies capable of penetrating the dermis at the appropriate depth to shatter tattoo ink, while still not causing damage to surrounding tissue. This can provide a better result than other tattoo removal methods, which often lead to scarring. In addition to removing unwanted tattoos, the Q-switched laser can also treat age spots, freckles, sunspots, and certain birthmarks. While some discomfort is still possible, patients overwhelmingly report the process is much less painful.
Pixel8® Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling
Microneedling with Pixel8® can create a healthier complexion by making tiny micro-perforations in the skin, activating your body’s natural healing mechanisms.
